Castleford Roll Call

The Castleford Men's Club will once again be sponsoring $20.00 incentives for the students K-11 on Thursday May 8th. All students who score a 4 on a 5 point rubric or who show a 1 point growth from the fall direct writing assessment to the spring direct writing assessment will be awarded the $20 mall certificate. The recent scores released from the state department of education showed that we are very near the top for writing skills in the magic valley. Also on the 8th the FFA will be holding their annual awards banquet at 7 pm.
May 12th will be the last time this year that we hand out the three week grade reports for students to take home and share with their parents. We would remind you that grade information is available any time via the school web page. May 12th is also the date for the FCCLA award banquet.
The Castleford PTYO will be sponsoring and conducting an elementary field day on May 13th beginning at 1:30. The field day will be for elementary students and individuals who would like to help are encouraged to contact Lori Hale or Marci Jenson.
The Junior High Band will perform at the Fourth District Music Festival in Jerome on Wednesday May 7th.
The spring all school music program will be at 1:45, Friday, May 9th.
