This quarter we are focusing on high frequency and highly used words.  Each week students will get a list of 25-30 words.  They will take a pretest, make corrections, study throughout the week and take a test on Friday.

The students will be expected to read one novel/ reading selection of their own each 3 weeks. They will then take an accelerated Reading test and do a book report on these book.

 

This quarter we will concentrate on non-fiction and fiction reading. The students will have a vocabulary list they need to work on and they will take notes on each story that we read. Goal:  1.6.1, 1.4.2
